Owner of bitch will supply owner of stud dog with a copy of litter record (puppy registration numbers with names/addresses/phone numbers of buyers of all pups) for our files.

FROZEN SEMEN STUD FEE $800.00   Plus $150.00 semen fee

Terms:  payable at time of insemination [before semen will be released]

  • A litter constitutes 4 or more puppies. 

  • If less than 4 puppies, a pro-rated charge of $200.00 per puppy will apply.

  • Any boarding fees or vet. expenses will be paid by owner of the bitch.

  • Before any registration papers are signed, all expenses must be paid in full.

FROZEN SEMEN/SEMEN BREEDING INFORMATION:

  • Semen fee: $150.00 will be charged to cover  the cost of 1 (one) vial of semen.

Information about other fees is below:

Frozen Semen:

  • Rocky's semen is stored at the International Canine Semen Bank (ICSB) main office in Sandy Oregon, and at ICSB franchise in Lomira Wisconsin. ICSB collects, freezes, and stores canine semen and provides for it's successful use in artificial insemination.
  • Conception rates using frozen semen are equal to or greater than the average obtained from natural breeding. ICSB uses Serum Progesterone, the latest procedure, for timing the bitch for artificial insemination.
  • The semen is shipped via Federal Express, and the costs to the bitch owner include:  semen prep., nitrogen tank rental, and shipping and handling to your vet. Contact ICSB for current fees/charges. (ICSB requires a credit card for payment of fees, prior to shipment) ICSB needs 4 to 5 days notice prior to shipment of frozen semen. Additional charges result if notification is 3 working days or less.
